2020 Election

Mark your calendars! Election day is Tuesday, November 3, 2020 and your voice, your vote is imperative in bringing change to our community, to our state, and to our nation! So if you aren’t registered to vote, be sure to register to vote HERE!

** You must be registered to vote at least 30 days before Election Day.**

This is the day we’ve been waiting for since the election results were announced in 2016. This is our opportunity to elect progressive voices and progressive leaders who will bring the changes we’ve been advocating for, holding protests signs for, and writing our elected representatives about!

Offices Up for Election in 2020

2020 brings with it a multitude of opportunities to elect leaders up and down the ballot in Washington County. Here are the seats up for election in 2020:

TN House District 7
TN House, District 6
Johnson City Commission– 3 Positions
Johnson City School Board– 3 Positions
Jonesborough Mayor
Jonesborough Board of Mayor and Alderman– 2 Positions
Washington County School Board, District 2– 2 Positions

If you are interested in running for one of these offices, know someone who is interested in running for one of them, or if you or someone you know is interested in working on their campaign, register today for the WCDP Campaign Training Program with sessions in the fall of 2019 and the winter of 2020.
