It’s time to start off 2018 with warmth and coffee!
Meira Yasin is going to fill us in on her latest efforts in Gaza Camp and how we can support her humanitarian work in the world. There are some wonderful needs and opportunities for all of us, regardless of our abilities or income, to assist.
Also…bring any warm coats, scarves, gloves, hats, or blankets that are in good condition and clean, for distribution to vulnerable populations in our region.
Brandy Miller (who owns a downtown business) is collecting these items to distribute as she sees a need, and also to provide the downtown day center with, so they can better help keep people warm this winter.
Beyond that, we are there to hang out and enjoy each other’s company. Feel free to share any activities or events that other groups are involved with in the area. Thank you!
