Dates: July 17-August 1
Times:
- Monday-Friday: 9 am to 5 pm
- Saturdays: 9 am to 12 noon
- Sundays: closed
Locations (open to all voters):
- Old Jonesborough Middle School (308 Forest Dr, Jonesborough, TN 37659)
- Johnson City Fire Station #8 (106 Gray Commons Cir, Gray, TN 37615)
- Freedom Hall (1320 Pactolas Rd, Johnson City, TN 37604)

Request Period: April 6-July 27
Note that an absentee by-mail ballot request is only valid for ONE election and must be filed with the Washington County Election Commission Office during the request periods shown above. If a voter wishes to vote by mail again, a new application must be submitted during the request period of said Election.
Process:
- Download the Absentee Form by clicking here
- Return the filled form to the Washington County Election Commission Office

- After you receive your Absentee Ballot, you must mail it back in time for the county Election Commission to receive it no later than the close of polls on Election Day. You must return your ballot by mail (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.). Note that hand delivery to the Election Commission Office or handing it to a poll worker during early voting or on Election Day is not permitted.

Election Day is Thursday, August 6, 2026. Polls are open 8 am to 8 pm.
