The Caucus event will be held on Saturday, August 10, starting at 10 am at the Carver Recreation Center Gym (map).
Breakfast will be served. Everyone will be invited to participate in the Emancipation Day Celebration at Carver Park right after the Caucus!

There are two races open for endorsement/support by the Washington County Democratic Party:
IMPORTANT: All candidates must fill out this form to express their candidacy by August 1 at 8 pm! Candidacies will not be accepted on Caucus Day.
Candidates must meet the requirements for elected office set forth by the State of Tennessee. You may check them out here.
Candidates for the Johnson City Commission must also withdraw papers at the Washington County Election Commission (website – map) and collect signatures (we can help you collect signatures!).
Candidates for the Washington County Commission District 9 seat do NOT need to withdraw papers (the paperwork will be filed by WCDP with the Election Commission after the Caucus).
All Washington County voters are eligible to participate in the Caucus votes.
All voters must be credentialed to participate in the Caucus votes (that is, verified as a Washington County voter). You are encouraged to get pre-credentialed before the event by clicking here. This will accelerate check-in. Otherwise, you will need to be credentialed on-site upon arrival.
