WCDP Re-organization

Every 2 years the Washington County Democratic Party hosts a re-organization and invites Washington County Democrats to run for office, executive committee, as well as to sign up for one of the WCDP Committees.
Offices up for election:
Chair
Vice-Chair
Secretary
Treasurer
And the Executive Committee which is comprised of up to 10 men and 10 women. (A minimum of 5 men and 5 women.)
From 5:30 – 6:30 PM, voters participating in the re-org will be certified (must be a registered voter in Washington County). From 6:30 – 8:30 PM voters will elect the WCDP officers and executive committee for the 2019 – 2021 term. The WCDP bylaws will also be reviewed and voted on.
Candidates may show up to the re-org ready to run without previously having registered with the WCDP or the TNDP. Please note the current WCDP Bylaws with the requirements for running for office and job descriptions.

The WCDP Bylaws committee is reviewing the WCDP Bylaws. This committee is open to any WCDP member who’d like to attend and help update the bylaws. All committee meetings are posted on the WCDP Facebook page.
