Washington County Democratic Party to Hold 2023 Biennial Reorganization Convention on March 25 in Johnson City

March 18, 20230

The Washington County Democratic Party (WCDP) will hold its 2023 Biennial Reorganization Convention on Saturday, March 25, at Carver Park Recreation Center (322 W Watauga Ave, Johnson City, TN). WCDP invites all residents of Washington County supporting Democratic values and candidates to join the Convention and vote for the party’s new bylaws and leadership. The program will further include a presentation of WCDP’s 2023-2025 roadmap to the 2024 presidential election cycle.

“The ‘Reorg’ — as we commonly call this Convention — is a critical moment of local, political life for parties and voters,” says Sylvain Bruni, Chair of WCDP. “It’s a time when residents can learn about the party, select who will lead it forward, and get involved to make a difference at the county level.”

WCDP invites prospective attendees to pre-register online at https://wctndp.org/2023Reorg to expedite the check-in process on Convention day. Doors will open a 9 am for check-in, and the Convention will start at 10 am. Breakfast will be served. Online participation via Zoom will be made available to those who pre-register online.
