With this award, TNDP and TDCCA recognize WCDP’s efforts in Northeast TN
The Washington County Democratic Party (WCDP) is thrilled to announce that we have been honored with the “One to Watch Award” at the Tennessee Democratic Party’s (TNDP) prestigious Three Star Dinner on Saturday, July 27th. This award recognizes outstanding leadership among county parties in their efforts to grow the Democratic Party and enhance voting engagement. The winner is selected by representatives from TNDP and the Tennessee Democratic County Chairs Association (TDCCA).
“Our team is incredibly proud to be the 2024 recipient of the ‘One to Watch Award,’ and we thank our fellow Democrats across the state for selecting us!” said Sylvain Bruni, WCDP Chair. “This honor rewards years of grassroots and volunteer work by dozens of committed Democrats in Washington County.”
Over the past year, the WCDP has made significant strides in expanding our community visibility, raising a record amount of funds, and increasing volunteer opportunities for our Get Out the Vote (GOTV) initiatives. Our dedicated efforts have also led to the recruitment of a record number of candidates and have proven our commitment to strong and effective leadership within our community.
The Washington County Democratic Party will continue in our mission to promote democratic values, support the rights of all citizens, and ensure fair and free elections. We are excited about the future and are committed to working together to create a more inclusive society.
